Congratulations on your decision to buy land and build your new home. The choice to build your new home is a big step and can be the realisation of a life long dream.

Whilst building your new home can be very rewarding, at times the building process can be very overwhelming. As part this process many councils and developers require you to prepare a landscape plan by a suitably qualified designer to assist you in the planning and preparation of your new home.

At Urbanstyle landscape design we endeavor to make this process as smooth as possible. The team at Urbanstyle are recognised for designing innovative, spectacular and functional landscapes for residential and commercial projects throughout Melbourne. Each project is designed to reflect the client's individual needs therefore catering for all styles and requirements.
A landscape plan from Urbanstyle can ensure that your proposed development eliminates lengthy delays and provides the elements that are required for the plans to be endorsed by your estate developer.

This service is only provided to clients who have purchased their new home and there are no existing landscape elements within the front or rear garden. A maximium street frontage of 20m also applies to this design, although a separate proposal can be provided for people outside these criteria. This design does not include a visit to the site from the designer but only phone / email conversations.
Most Developer submissions only require a front design to be completed. Confirm this with your developer to ensure a smooth planning process.

Council Town planning:

Landscape development plans or town planning plans are now required by a number of municipal councils for unit developments, commercial developments and some single residence proposals.
Urbanstyle landscape plans, submitted with the development applications can eliminate lengthy delays as they provide the details that are required for the plans to be endorsed by your developer or municipal council.

On-Site Consultations:

Urbanstyle offers an onsite consultation service to explore your own thoughts and ideas. If you don’t feel the need for a landscape plan Urbanstyle can visit you for a consultation. We listen to your needs and desires for your outdoor space, and give design and horticultural advice. Our experienced staff will work with you to plan and create your dream outdoor living space. It is recommended that you have a pen and paper handy to write down any ideas generated by the designer. A $250 fee is payable on the day for an approxmiate 1 hour consultation.
